Heritage: EagleMan-mania
In the spirit of a healthier family life style that HERITAGE subdivision promotes, dawn broke over the inaugural HERITAGE Eagleman triathlon on October 11, 2008. Excitement was in the air as nearly 250 athletes lined the shore of HERITAGE Lake.
Race Director Ben Hughes did a fantastic job managing the event which included a 1/3 mile swim, a 16.5 mile bike and a 3 mile run. After months of preparation, participants from over six states definitely enjoyed the competition. They biked and ran along the winding roads of future home locations. The 1/3 mile swim took place in the beautiful 162 acre HERITAGE Lake. The rectangular swim course included buoys and lifeguards. Race results may be seen by
